ImperialHal Expresses Discontent with Apex Legends Meta in Season 16 Split 2

Phillip “ImperialHal” Dosen, a renowned player for TSM, called the “useless” composition that has dominated the meta in the Apex Legends professional scene “useless,” and he expressed his desire to move on from it and use something new. With the release of Apex Legends Season 16, Respawn Entertainment implemented one of the most significant modifications to the game’s roster of legends in a considerable amount of time by completely revamping the class abilities.

This and some alterations to specific characters have resulted in one of the most significant shake-ups to the metagame in the past few seasons. Because of this, Octane’s position as the second most popular legend has been usurped by Pathfinder, and the Forward Scout is well on his way to displacing Wraith as the most famous legend. The modifications have also had a knock-on impact on the compositions that professional teams employ in their matches; nevertheless, ImperialHal is not a massive fan of it and is looking for a change in the metagame.

For the Season 16 Split 2 matchmaking, ImperialHal aims the “stupid” Apex Legends meta

After his team was wiped out while attempting to gain access to a building on Black Sands Isle on Storm Point, the TSM star, who has been playing as Catalyst in previous games, let loose on the current metagame. He was playing as Catalyst in those games. “I’m so done with participating in this f***ing competition. It’s so f***ing pointless. To release his rage, the man stated, “Like, I’m relying on positioning and nothing else.” “I don’t get to use anything else because it’s so effing and ridiculous,” she said. It’s been driving me crazy, and I can’t wait to get off of this thing because it’s so ridiculous.

Hal also mentioned that despite Horizon’s recent buffs, he prefers to play as her because the game’s configuration calls for a more passive style of play. He said, “I can’t push a fcking team because I’m playing as fcking Catalyst,” which meant that he was unable to exert any influence over the team. “I’m sick of playing Cat and doing absolutely nothing,” the speaker said.

Catalyst, Seer, and Valkyrie have been the three characters that most teams have been using as their primary three characters since the most recent patch. Rampart, Wattson, and Crypto have also received much attention.

Horizon has been a viable option for several teams in the past, and if Hal chooses to convert back to the original build, we could see her making a comeback. Now, all we can do is sit tight and watch to see if that holds.
