AI Frustration in Warzone 2 DMZ, Players are quitting

The artificial intelligence in the extraction shooter game Warzone 2 DMZ, which some players feel has become increasingly frustrating to compete against, is one of the primary motivating factors behind their decision to stop playing the game entirely. DMZ, an extraction shooter in the vein of Escape from Tarkov, made its debut alongside Warzone 2, and players eagerly anticipated it as they searched for an entirely new experience within the Call of Duty universe.

Even though it didn’t blow up and steal all of the gamers from Warzone and Modern Warfare 2 multiplayer, it’s still been very successful, with a vast, dedicated player base that enjoys the change of pace from normal Call of Duty.

Yet, artificial intelligence has been a persistent problem for players in the game ever since it was first released. Although players should anticipate artificial intelligence (AI) as an essential component of the extraction shooter genre in the game, they report that dealing with AI is becoming increasingly tough.

“The DMZ is no longer entertaining.”

Punelle described this, and many other users on Reddit agreed with her explanation, which she posted under the subject “DMZ is not enjoyable anymore.”

They said: “I used to play DMZ mode with my colleagues daily since it was released, and we looked forward to the next season when they would alter the AI – unfortunately, the AI grew much worse in Season 2. We can no longer participate in any games because things have reached this degree. There is nothing that I can see that would lead me to assume that the corporation even considers it to be a problem. I’d like to know whether or not they give DMZ any thought.

A number of the other commentators expressed complete agreement with the post. One of the players commented that the “endless wave after wave of the AI is a bit much” at the DMZ. “DMZ was a relaxing spot for when BR got a little too much,” the player said. Once all of your plates have been used up, the game is essentially done.

Due to the shortage of ammo and armor plates, one player stated that it is “very much unworkable to complete a contract” when playing the game alone. Many players believe that the status of AI in DMZ has worsened over time, despite having complained about it for a long time. This is especially the case for players who expected Season 2 to bring about adjustments that would make the AI less of a concern.
