Keria’s Unconventional Support Choices in the LCK Spring Split

T1 Keria continued his trend of sharpshooters games in the LCK with the first-ever Kalista support after the first-ever Caitlyn support.

Week 2 of the LCK Spring Split featured a matchup between T1 and Dplus KIA earlier today. T1 replied after DK won Game 1 by winning Game 2, extending the series to the decisive Game 3. T1 chose Kalista as another ADC to team up with Draven in the bottom lane, with T1 on the red side and DK selecting the customary Zeri bot lane.

After choosing the first-ever Caitlyn support, Keria has selected two shooters in as many days, and both are being used against Zeri Lulu, a weak early-game bot lane.

The primary objective of the two selections, Kalista and Draven, is to bully the adversaries and deny them all of the gold and experience within the first few minutes of the game. Both characters are renowned for being early-game solid ADCs. The early-game preparation is relatively self-explanatory when T1 has a potent ganking champion like Sejuani on their side. Additionally, Kalista’s ultimate let her move her ADC, making it nearly impossible for the opposition to capture the Draven.

If you need help using Kalista as a support, Keria is constructing the champions similarly to how he did with Caitlyn. He is aiming for the most aggressive rune configuration possible, with Inspiration serving as a secondary tree and Hail of Blades serving as the central keystone rune.

Keria chose to rush the Umbral Glaive to block vision and started with the Spectral Sickle as a support item. He chose Ionian boots since they would have a shorter cooldown on his summoner goods and abilities. After that, he decided to equip more terminal equipment so that his long-range spears might inflict harm.

After seeing Jhin and other ADC supports, everyone was unsure if Caitlyn’s support would reappear. Nevertheless, Keria chooses a fresh sharpshooter as part of her ongoing meta-innovation. Will he continue to make unorthodox decisions in the coming weeks? Watch the LCK to learn more.
