The developers of Overwatch 2 have announced that there will be alterations made to Sombra. However, supporters of the hero may have to wait longer than they had thought in order to see her returned to the glory that she once held in the game.
Although there is a plethora of new content being added to Overwatch 2 at the moment, such as the recently introduced Battle for Olympus event and a great deal more, the game is still plagued by a significant number of issues.
Most recently, Overwatch 2 has been experiencing significant problems with its overall balancing. The Overwatch community has been urging Blizzard to take care of this problem as quickly as possible, despite the fact that the development team has stated that they will address and rectify these modifications in the near future.
Players have voiced their worries online about how much the character has been nerfed since the launch of the original Overwatch game. This particular hero, Sombra, has received more attention than any of the other heroes.
Fans Await Updates from Lead Hero Designer
Alec Dawson, the lead hero designer for Overwatch 2, said on Twitter that the character is now being evaluated, despite the fact that the alterations may not be coming for quite some time. Fans have been reassured that there will be alterations made to Sombra in the near future.
Dawson began his post by stating that the Overwatch development team is “actively working on some modifications for Sombra, but they won’t be for Season 3.” He then went on to say that the team “hopefully will have more to share soon!”
It is not yet known when the Sombra adjustments will be implemented or on what exact day they will take effect. Blizzard has not yet confirmed this, despite the fact that it is quite likely that they will debut with the start of Season 4. Having said that, rest assured that we will keep you informed as soon as any new information regarding the alterations to Sombra in Overwatch 2 becomes available. Since the premiere of Season 3 is slated to take place early in the month of February, this indicates that the premiere of Season 4 should take place around the month of April.
