Arcitys and Dan “Ghosty” Rothe, both members of OpTic Texas, were in the midst of competing in an Al Bagra Fortress Hardpoint when the chance presented itself. Arcitys quickly fired a couple of shots into his back as they were both headed toward the hill so that he could obtain the ‘Deady’ update. Throughout the process of taking down his fellow professional player, he warned them, “Wait, I gotta team kill you.”
It is essential to keep in mind that they are competing in Ranked Play, which means that Friendly Fire is enabled by default but that a single player can only rack up a certain number of kills for their team before the damage stops affecting their allies and starts affecting them directly instead. This is something that must be kept in mind at all times.
This should work in any game that allows friendly fire, but you should be mindful that random teammates won’t recognize what’s going on. Because of this, you should use it cautiously to avoid turning the entire lobby into a battleground.
