Valorant’s VCT Americas leads the pack in viewership with impressive numbers

Following the conclusion of the first week of the VCT Americas, it is clear that the league is currently leading the pack in terms of the number of spectators it attracts. According to Esports Charts statistics, the inaugural match between Sentinels and 100 Thieves had the highest viewership of the first week of the VCT Americas, with 407,641 people tuning in to watch it. The Brazilian showdown between LOUD and MIBR, which reached a high of 336,678 viewers, came in at position two on the overall rankings.

These numbers shed light on the great recognition that Valorant enjoys in the Americas. In the first week of the VCT EMEA, the two matches with the most viewers came close to reaching a high of 290,000, but they did not get it. After the first two weeks of the VCT Pacific, the league has reached its peak viewership of 272,093 individuals.

VCT Americas Sets Impressive Viewership Records

The VCT Americas had an outstanding peak audience, but even more impressive was the league’s average viewership during week one, which was 226,401 viewers. This is an increase of 77,000 more viewers than the typical amount seen in the Pacific region and 85,000 more viewers than the EMEA region.

The only match that didn’t achieve the 200,000 mark in peak viewership during the first week of the VCT Americas was the North American match between Cloud9 and Evil Geniuses. This match was the only one. Co-streaming has been an integral part of the success that Valorant Esports has enjoyed all over the world, and it was one of the primary factors that contributed to the match between Sentinels and 100 Thieves reaching such an impressive attendance peak.

Tarik ‘tarik’ Celik, the content creator for Sentinels, was at the Riot Games Arena in Los Angeles, where the battle was being played. He was co-streaming it with Matthew ‘Nadeshot‘ Haag, the founder and CEO of 100 Thieves. According to Streams Charts, more than 140,000 viewers were watching the live broadcast at one point. On April 8, VCT Americas will make its comeback with the second week of fixtures. The North American derby between NRG and Sentinels will be the highlight of this week’s action.
