Pokemon Scarlet & Violet Tera Raid Glitch to be Fixed in Upcoming Patch, but Players Face Delay

The recent glitch that affected Walking Wake and Iron Leaves Tera Raids in Pokemon Scarlet & Violet will be fixed in the upcoming patch; however, players will have to wait quite a bit for it to become available. By the end of February 2023, Pokemon Scarlet and Violet received two new Tera Raid bouts for the newly released Paradox Pokémon Walking Wake and Iron Leaves. These battles were designed to test the player’s mettle against these powerful new Pokemon.

Regrettably, there was a fault that had a rather terrible impact on some players who were participating in the Tera Raid battle. As a consequence of this bug, impacted trainers were prevented from capturing either Paradox Pokemon.

The Pokemon Company has stated that the following patch for Scarlet & Violet will remedy this glitch; nevertheless, trainers looking forward to the update may have to wait for it longer than they had anticipated.

The “Bad Egg” glitch will be fixed in the upcoming Pokemon Scarlet and Violet patch

The Walking Wake and Iron Leaves Tera Raid problem was confirmed when the official Play Pokemon Twitter account sent out a message with a link to a support plan in an effort to assist individuals who the issue had negatively impacted. The tweets confirmed that the patch would not be released until “the end of April,” which means that players who have been prevented from collecting Walking Wake or Iron Leaves will have to wait an entire month before being given a chance to do so again.

For the benefit of those who might not be aware, the Walking Wake and Iron Leaves Tera Raid bugs were caused when players using different versions of the game’s update joined together in a Tera Raid. If a player attempted to capture one of the Paradox Pokemon, they would instead obtain a “Bad Egg” rather than the Pokemon they were trying to acquire.

Because the game had already identified the Egg as the Paradox Pokemon, it was impossible to make this Egg available in any form. Doing so would prevent people from capturing Walking Wake or Iron Leaves for themselves. There is some good news, even though those trainers who were unfortunate enough to catch the Bad Egg would have to wait a whole month before the problem can be fixed.

According to the Customer Help website that Play Pokemon tweeted, once the update is ready, Scarlet and Violet will host another round of Walking Wake and Iron Leaves Tera Raids so that players who did not manage to catch them the first time around will have another opportunity to do so.
