FromSoftware has stated that new Elden Ring downloadable content is presently being developed. The company has also revealed that the next chapter in the Elden Ring world will be titled Shadow of the Erdtree. Given that FromSoftware’s open-world Souls adventure has been a flaming success for an entire year, there is very little that needs to be said about Elden Ring at this moment.

The official Twitter account for Elden Ring also added a little bit more to the announcement by pumping up fans with some familiar jargon from the game, saying things like, “Rise, Tarnished, and let us tread a new path together.” The forthcoming Elden Ring expansion, titled Shadow of the Erdtree, is currently being developed.
