The rewards, perks, and absence of wild spawns in the A Mystic Hero event have divided Pokemon Go trainers as to whether or not it is worthwhile to take part. The last several weeks have been turbulent for Pokemon Go. Fans protested Niantic’s decision to nerf Remote Raid Passes through boycotts, petitions, and even wholly deleting the game.
Following the Remote Raid Pass fiasco, fans are now troubled by the A Mystic Hero event, with many immediately pointing out obvious faults and glitches that damage the experience. Due to the awards — or lack thereof — granted, the A Mystic Hero event has even sparked a discussion among trainers who claim participating is not worthwhile.
Fans of Pokemon Go argue a Mystic Hero occasion
The discussion was sparked by a trainer’s infographic of the event’s awards and bonuses shared on the Pokemon Go subreddit. “Thank you, Niantic, for such an amazing four-day event with no wild spawns,” the OP’s post’s title read. I am incredibly appreciative of this business and how concerned it is with the players of its game.
Many assumed the title was ironic and reflected that assumption in their responses. One fan referred to Blanche’s odd posing bug and commented, “Blanche T-posing on me during most animations when I first checked out the research showed how much effort they put into this.” Other trainers, however, responded to the criticism of the event, with some claiming they didn’t see anything wrong with the incentives and boosts provided. “I understand why everyone despises Niantic, but what is wrong with this event? I think it’s fine,” one trainer said.
Another participant noted that they weren’t the only ones who felt this way, asking, “Do people have to b*tch about everything. You can get two free lures, bonus XP, and a particular costumed Pokemon as part of this tiny event. Not everything needs to be a big deal. Trainers still have plenty of time to win rewards since the A Mystic Hero event will run through April 17, 2023, at 8:00 PM local time.
