Call of Duty: Warzone 2 Fans Await UI Patch for Season 2 “Visual Pollution”

Fans of Call of Duty: Warzone 2 is expecting a patch that will improve the user interface because of the “visual pollution” included in a previous update. The Call of Duty community has been talking the user interfaces for Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2 since both games came out on their own platforms.

Yet, user interfaces rarely appear completely flawless, regardless of the game. Minimalist design has become increasingly popular in video game titles, particularly open-world adventures, over the past few years.

The Assassin’s Creed video games from Ubisoft are video games that let users personalize the user interface to their liking. Elden Ring, in the meantime, received compliments for making the user interface as simple and unobtrusive as feasible by default. Call of Duty is going in the complete opposite direction.

Screen pop-ups are the most current source of annoyance in the Warzone sequel, and Season 2 of the game is responsible for them. Also, several additional individuals responded to express their dissatisfaction with the service. The user interface (UI) update was criticized by one Warzone 2 gamer as being unclear. “Getting used to it is a pretty jarring experience. I keep fooling myself into thinking I’m taking out enemies while weakening their defenses.

Another person argued that the change was not important since items were already built-in to transmit the same information, and everyone accepted their reasoning. Others made light of the notion that the game’s creators still needed to put it through rounds of playtesting.
