Apex Legends Season 17: Accidental Leak Reveals New Legend and Possible Smart Pistol Inclusion
EA unintentionally published the critical image for Apex Legends Season 17 in their blog about the Veiled collection event. Additionally to the new Legend, it also appears to display a Smart Pistol. Players, especially Caustic enthusiasts, were indeed anticipating the Veiled collection event. Longtime mains of the Legend should be happy about his new Prestige skin and finisher animation. But there are also a ton of different skins and a revamped version of Team Deathmatch to look forward to.
However, while visiting the landing page, Apex Legends gamers could have been more enthusiastic about the collection event. The forthcoming character for Apex Legends that still needs to be unveiled appears in the banner image. The image was quickly changed, fueling speculation that EA had no intention of letting players see him so early on. In addition, he appears to be wielding the intelligent pistol, a favored weapon from the Titanfall series, for many years.
An accidental leak of a new character from Apex Legends Season 17
A few sharp-eyed Twitter users were able to take screenshots of the key art for the most recent Legend before it was abruptly removed. A well-known dataminer named KralRindo has determined that the next season will probably be called Arsenal from the URL of the image when it is pulled into another tab. Either that or it might be the new Legend’s name. Although it’s difficult to say at this stage, pictures of him have players curious about his potential skills.
With obviously grey hair and a duster coat that gives him the appearance of a genuine gunslinger, the newest Legend is a little older than the majority of the cast.
His weapon is also remarkably similar to the Smart Pistol from Titanfall, which has players guessing whether the venerable firearm may appear in Apex Legends. It is not yet known if this Smart Pistol is a unique item found only in the new hero’s kit, common ground loot, or a care package weapon.
FunFPS from XSET didn’t precisely appear pleased about the possibility of being included in the video game. Fans appear split despite our little knowledge about the new Legend.
