Fans request the addition of Mama Odie in Disney Dreamlight Valley’s upcoming update
Fans of Disney Dreamlight Valley are requesting that Mama Odie from The Princess and the Frog appear in the game’s upcoming update, and many of them say they already own the ideal home for her. Every update brings new characters to Disney Dreamlight Valley, and many fans like predicting which ones will appear next. The Valley has limited room for new homes, so we can only anticipate seeing some beloved Disney figures there.
However, when one fan said they already had the best house for her on Reddit to voice their wish for a very unexpected addition to the Valley, many other players immediately seized on the idea, noting it was “a much better fit.”

In Princess and the Frog, Mama Odie is the voodoo priestess in the swamp. She soon gained popularity among the audience since she is a lovely older woman with a fantastic eccentric streak. A photograph of Mama Odie’s home from the movie has now been shared on Reddit by a player who claims they “want Mama Odie in the game so bad we can get her house” and that they are “trying to turn the Glade of Trust into a Princess and the Frog inspired bayou.”
Soon after, several other gamers expressed their support in the comments section. One user jumped on the idea and said, “I’m already here for it. I would adore seeing some Princess and the Frog imagery. Mama Odie “would have been a much better fit for Gothel’s house,” said another fan, who expressed the hope that “maybe she’ll eventually move out and it can get a Mama Odie makeover.”
The two statements were supported by a large number of other players, some of whom demanded a change and others who wished for “a plot where Gothel gets envious of everyone else’s houses and asks MC to build her a new house.” One participant combined the two, implying that “If you look at the top of Gothel’s house, it looks like there’s room for Mama Odie,” underscoring the possibility that the two may ultimately share the same tree.
There has yet to be any news on Mama Odie’s entrance into Disney Dreamlight Valley, and the roadmap does list a few newcomers, but that doesn’t mean we won’t eventually hear something about the Princess and the Frog.
