Pro player of Apex Legends ImperialDuring an ALGS scrims match, Hal accused NICMERCS of playing unnaturally, and Nick responded with authority to this accusation. Both ImperialHal and NICKMERCS are incredibly enthusiastic about what they do, which has resulted in intense debates in the past between the two of them. Ever since Nick made the shift from being a full-time streamer to playing Apex Legends professionally, Hal has been highly critical of Nick’s dedication to the game.

The mainstay of TSM called Nick out for playing Warzone 2 rather than Apex, and the mainstay even labeled Nick the “weak link” of his ALGS team. The two competitors respect one another in the long run, but that doesn’t stop them from engaging in a fiery exchange occasionally when the stakes are high. When it comes to practice, ALGS teams compete against one another in private bouts. Every team wants to perform at its highest level in order to earn a spot in the playoffs for the remaining few game days of ALGS Split 2. NICKMERCS’ and TSM’s teams were victorious after a battle involving numerous groups, but NICKMERCS’ squad was victorious in a gunfight with TSM’s team during a private match. Nick became aware through the stream discussion that Hal was making derogatory comments about him.

Nick asserted, “Hal does well in scrims, which is great because the scrims are great, but Hal gets killed, which is bad because the scrims are bad.” “In practice, we are working on playing how we want to. The phrase “What the f**k is he doing” comes to mind.  Nick questioned Hal, “What are you bitching about?” after joining a discord conversation with Hal.

Hal retorted, “You can see that the zone is in the north, so why on earth would you go south when there are four or five teams?” The leader of MFAM did not back down and instead argued: “In our defense, we didn’t think you would be there. You are free to spew nonsense as much as you like.”

In addition to this, he stated, “If anyone is trolling, it’s you because, guess what, you were doing some sh*t that you would never do on game day.” After everything was said and done, the two veterans laughed it off and called it a night.
