Disguised Valorant Completes Roster with Addition of Former Soniqs Player Nerve

Following the revelation that former Soniqs player Michael “Nerve” Yerrow will be entering the starting lineup for Valorant, the roster for Disguised’s Valorant has been completed. In preparation for the beginning of the North American Valorant Challengers league. The team known as Disguised has announced its fifth and final player. Nerve, who most recently competed for Soniqs in the

Open Qualifiers for the company, has been brought on board by the club. In the announcement, Disguised pointed out that Nerve had previously attempted to try out for the Cloud9 team. But was unsuccessful; as a result, he will now be playing for the Challengers League team.

According to the release, “He was trying out for Cloud9 but got rejected, which made him the perfect choice for our strategy of picking up players C9 didn’t want.” On April 13, Disguised announced that Damion “XXiF” Cook would no longer be a part of the team.

Damion had been with the squad since it qualified for the Open Qualifiers

Valorant’s roster is now complete with the addition of a former Soniqs member, thanks to Disguised. Nerve is mostly a player of the Controller class, but they have experience playing as other professional Agent classes. Because they now have a starting five players and a sixth player available as a reserve, this should be the last time Disguised changes their roster.

This news follows closely on the heels of the recent announcement that Disguised has added Jaccob “yay” Whiteaker, a superstar player for Valorant and a former member of Cloud9, to their squad. After the news was announced, the former member of OpTic Gaming commented that his time spent with the Challengers league team should be relatively brief. Still, he mentioned that bringing them to VCT Americas would be fantastic.

During the first week of action in the North American Challengers League, the revamped squad will go up against Oxygen Esports. The group has one more chance to win enough points to advance to the playoff bracket and qualify for the Ascension tournament. If they do so, they will have the opportunity to compete in the VCT Americas.
