“The Acolyte” actors have not been officially announced; however, speculations regarding who may appear have recently surfaced. The media has mentioned Natasha Liu Bordizzo from “Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon: Sword of Destiny” as a potential cast member for “The Acolyte.”

Headland recently shared this news in an interview with The Hollywood Reporter and hinted that “The Acolyte” will star an actress as its leading lady. Headland says “like an action spy thriller but with added Sith elements which make for something very compelling.”

Leslye Headland is the showrunner and creator of “The Acolyte,” working alongside of producers and writers on this series. Key members who contribute include:

Executive Producer/Writers for Blood & Water include Krysten Ritter (“Jessica Jones”) and Cailey Fleming from “The Walking Dead.” Matt Owens from Luke Cage and Diana Williams from Blood & Water will write. Both the release date and production status remain undecided at present.

“The Acolyte” does not have an exact release date but will debut on Disney+ shortly. Preproduction for it has begun, with filming expected to commence soon afterward.
