Warzone 2 Players Call for Cheaters to Face Invisibility Cloak as New Anti-Cheat Measure
Players of Warzone 2 are in favor of offering cheaters a taste of their own medicine by including an invisibility cloak into the game as a new feature.
Following the release of the Season 2 update, community members have mentioned an increase in the amount of cheating in Warzone 2. Because Activision listened to the complaints, it updated the Ricochet anti-cheat system. The new version of the system includes a replay investigation tool, which enables the owners to observe WZ2 and MW2 matches again and identify players who are cheating.
Additionally, the owners have, at long last, included a method to identify cheaters by means of a Cronus Zen gadget installed on controllers. Last but not least, gamers were provided with a refresher on alternative ways to deal with cheaters.
In some situations, simply banning players is not enough, as Activision also uses easing techniques to annoy users attempting to take corners and get an advantage.

Cloaking, a feature that allows participants to remain anonymous from cheaters, was made public by Activision. When it is determined that a player is suspected of cheating, the opponent will appear undetectable on that player’s screen.
Two additional ways that Warzone 2 eliminates the incentive to break the rules are disarming yourself and putting up a damage barrier. Disarming cheaters causes their weaponry and equipment to be removed from them, while a damage shield creates a barrier that protects them from other cheaters. Many members of the Call of Duty community went to Reddit to discuss these anti-cheat measures, with some users arguing that it is preferable to annoy cheaters as opposed to outright banning them from the district.

A third commenter claimed that it is funny to bully them, plus it annoys the hell out of them, which is more amusing than an outright ban. This commenter acknowledged that this puts honest players at risk. The Ricochet anti-cheat upgrade will be put through its paces when Season 3’s Warzone Ranked begins, providing Infinity Ward and the Call of Duty player base with an opportunity to evaluate its effectiveness.
