Warzone 2 Player Perplexed by Opponent’s Full Armor Plates After Self-Revive

A Warzone 2 player was left perplexed after an opponent who had been taken down recovered themselves while still possessing all their armor plates, which ultimately led to the player’s death. Players of Warzone 2 are accustomed to encountering a variety of odd situations. In Al-Mazrah, you never know what you’re going to meet next, whether it be game-breaking bugs and malfunctions or rampant cheating by other players. Sometimes it’s impossible to predict what you’re going to go through there.

A Warzone gamer called ‘kinky’ posted a brief video on May 20 in a Reddit thread, and the majority of the community was utterly baffled by it. The player said, “I’m confused. How does this player who just self-revived get up with full plates?” and provided a 15-second video of a kill cam, in which an opponent who had been visibly downed self-revived still had full shields. The footage showed the player who had been consumed by self-reviving.

Players in Warzone 2 were confused by a downed player who had full plates

The majority of people were perplexed. Several people came up with the theory that the death cam had a bug, which would explain why it didn’t show the player putting on armor plates. One of them said that the replay might need to be more accurate. “After releasing the smoke, they were silent for a considerable time. It’s possible that they were using shields, but we didn’t notice because the attack didn’t register.

Another person said, “It looks like the animation glitched out and didn’t show him plating.” Unfortunately, we cannot determine whether or not he had plates after he was revived, but that is what the kill cam is for.

However, as other people have pointed out, likely, the opponent was initially brought down by fall damage, which explains why the armor plates were still fitted after they were brought to the ground. One of the players questioned the other, “Did you take him out?” “When you are knocked down by fall damage, it does not do any damage to your plates; it only does damage to your health; therefore, when you respawn, you still have plates.” Although Warzone 2 contains several errors and problems, this is not one of them. Despite this, it is essential to keep in mind that players will still have shields even after they have been knocked down by fall damage.
