Trainers are already considering strategies to defeat the Rock-type giant in a single turn now that Pokemon Scarlet & Violet’s 7-star Chesnaught Tera Raids have begun. Pokemon Scarlet & Violet’s 7-star Tera Raids’ newest round is underway. Players are tackling Chesnaught, a Grass-type Starter from Generation 6, this month.
Tera Raid Chesnaught is a Rock Tera Type, which means it has several weaknesses that players can take advantage of. Despite this, this powerful Pokemon isn’t a pushover. That hasn’t stopped some astute trainers from devising creative plans to enable them to destroy the Rock-type in a single move, though.
Tera Chesnaught is easily defeated by Pokemon Scarlet & Violet
On the Pokemon Scarlet & Violet subreddit, Nommable123 and three other trainers contributed this exact one-turn KO method. They deployed three more Perrserkers, whose primary duty was to weaken Chesnaught’s Special Defense stat and Gholdengo as their main attackers. Also, the approach is pretty straightforward, and trainers should have no trouble duplicating it with assistance from three additional pals. A modest-natured Gholdengo holding a Choice Specs with the move Make it Rain requires one trainer to start things off.
The other trainers will each employ a Perrserker equipped with a Focus Sash and Steely Spirit and Fake Tears skills. On their first turn, the Perrserkers will use Fake Tears to weaken Chesnaught’s Iron Defense and prepare it for Goldengho’s attack. The key to this tactic is Perrserker’s hidden ability Steely Spirit, which stacks with the other two Perrserker and increases Goldengho’s Make it Rain’s damage by 1.5x.
Last, Gholdengo ought to outrun Chesnaught and use Make it Rain to dispatch the Rock Tera Type in one motion. Also, thanks to its Steel/Ghost type combination and powerful techniques, Gholdengo is a great Tera Chesnaught counter, along with Pokemon like Annihilape, Appletun, and Iron Leaves. The 7-star Tera Raid Chesnaught can be defeated using a variety of tactics, but this one certainly dispatches the tough Pokemon quickly.
