Rumored Return of the Pump Shotgun in Fortnite with a Twist: Introducing the Sharp Tooth Shotgun

According to recent rumors, the Pump Shotgun will be making a comeback in the game of Fortnite, albeit with a different name and set of powers that veterans of the game may find strange. During the initial phase of the battle royale mode, Epic Games included Pump Shotguns in the arsenal of available weapons. However, much to the disappointment of many, this specific Fortnite rifle has been vaulted for a considerable time.

Many people were keeping their fingers crossed that the first season of Chapter 4 would mark the beginning of the long-awaited resurgence of the Pump Shotgun. Such a change was off the agenda for the show’s first two seasons. However, supporters may finally get what they have been hoping for in the following days. The Pump Shotgun is rumored to be making its long-awaited return to the battlefield very soon, but there will be a catch this time.

Will the Pump Shotgun be added back into Fortnite?

Even while leakers HYPEX and FNAssist say that a Pump Shotgun has been introduced to the battle royale mode, the weapon won’t be made available to players until Epic pushes out an update indefinitely.

It will not be released under the more familiar moniker of Pump Shotgun but somewhat under the term Sharp Tooth Shotgun. According to HYPEX, the Sharp Tooth will have a narrower spread, the ability to fire at extended ranges, and around 160 Headshot Damage when it is a Legendary Rarity. According to FNAssist’s data, it might deal 196 damage when it’s Legendary Rarity, but everything should become evident quickly.

Even though this appears to be a reliable long-range weapon, players who are more comfortable engaging in combat at close range may still rely on Fortnite’s Havoc Pump Shotgun. The most recent update to Fortnite introduced yet another new firearm to the game’s collection of loot, giving players something to do while they wait for the rumored overhaul of the Pump Shotgun. In the updated version 25.11, the Explosive Repeater Rifle was added as a replacement for the Heavy Sniper Rifle. Explosive projectiles, as one might surmise from the weapon’s name, are launched at unsuspecting opponents to inflict maximum damage.
