Pokémon Go Player Discovers Abundance of PokeStops in Poland, Sparking Curiosity and Amazement

One user playing Pokemon Go while on vacation in Poland discovered a region with an unusually high concentration of PokeStops. PokeStops are locations in the real world that players of Pokemon Go may seek out while exploring the environment. Most stations are near significant sites of interest, such as historical landmarks.

In addition, these destinations are more than simply exciting stops along the way. Finding a PokeStop gives you access to a variety of different products that you may use in Pokemon Go. These items include things like potions and PokeBalls. Some of the more fortunate gamers could even take home an egg. If a player wanders into a region with a significant number of PokeStops, the chance may play little of a role in the battle’s outcome.

A user on Reddit uploaded a screenshot from the mobile game POGO that showed the dozens upon dozens of PokeStops dispersed throughout a region in Poland. At several points along the route, the stations give the impression that they are piled one over the other.

One of Poland’s port towns, Gdansk, was identified as the place on display when the user replied confirming its identity. This region of the nation is not the only one saturated with PokeStops. Someone who lives in the middle of nowhere and has expressed a desire to be surrounded by PokeStops received a comment from the original poster that said, “I’m on vacation, so yea, every single city in Poland just has a ridiculous amount of stops.”

Given the frequency with which they have denied their PokeStop suggestions, several other Pokemon Go users have voiced bewilderment. “I see something similar to this, and then I attempt to submit a request for a PokeStop that is located nearby, but it gets refused. How does this even make sense?  It’s stranger when you realize that Niantic’s help center states that suggestions for locations close to existing PokeStops “will most likely be considered ineligible.” Poland’s Pokemon Go community has benefitted from more relaxed reviewers’ standards for approving PokeStops.
