Massive Resurgence Temporarily Removed from Warzone 2 due to Circle Issue

Infinity Ward temporarily took Massive Resurgence out of play in Warzone 2 while the developers worked to resolve an issue with the gas circles. Massive Resurgence was first introduced in WZ2 Season 3. Although numerous specific Resurgence maps have been released for Warzone in the past, this is the very first time that players can enjoy the fan-favorite game mode in a large-scale setting. Squad members can redeploy until the third circle is closed off as long as at least one of their teammates is still alive.

Infinity Ward has made the mode available, and it supports both trios and quads. Additionally, some of the community desire solos and duos playlists. However, there has yet to be an official confirmation on whether or not Massive Resurgence will receive any of these playlists. As of the author of this article, there is no squad size accessible because the developers deleted the game mode in order to address a lingering issue.

Massive Resurgence has been temporarily removed from Warzone 2 by the developers

Infinity Ward made the following statement on April 18 regarding Warzone 2’s Massive Resurgence mode: “We have disabled the Massive Resurgence mode while we investigate an issue with irregular circle behavior.”

A video clip showing gamers loading into a Massive Resurgence map on Al Mazrah was shared on Twitter by the WZ2 content designer Bonq. After falling to the ground, he used a stim to bring himself back to life and leaped inside the circle, which was located inside the gas. The video game was over in less than half a minute because none of the other players had a method to get back to life.

Earlier the same day, Raven Software announced that the developers had put a remedy for the problem into production. However, gamers continued to face flaws that broke the game, as demonstrated in the video that can be found above, which forced Infinity Ward to disable the game mode. As a stopgap measure, the makers of Resurgence introduced Resurgence trios and Resurgence quads. Once the issue has been fixed and the game mode has been brought back online, we will offer an update.
