ImperialHal’s Dedication Prevails: The Reason Behind His Continued Commitment to Apex Legends

TSM player Philip ‘ImperialHal’ Dosen has revealed the rationale behind his decision to continue playing Apex Legends, even though he recently took a break from the battle royale game.  Players of Apex Legends, particularly those involved in the competitive scene, have had a lot to gripe about over the past few months. The servers have been attacked, which has made the games more challenging. Additionally, specific bullets have become invisible, and the recurring problems with the audio have surfaced once more.

On April 26, everything got too much for ImperialHal, and the following day, the TSM star announced that he would be taking a break from competition since the troubles were harming his performance and mental health.  Hal did not formally retire after that, and he has continued to be active in the gaming community ever since, frequently throwing watch parties on his stream. And if we’re talking about his quitting, I don’t see that happening soon, either. 

ImperialHal shares the reasons why he is not going to quit playing Apex Legends

One of the TSM IGL’s fans questioned him on May 9 about possibly leaving the organization permanently. Still, he claimed that a meaningful chat with his father had changed how he thought about going.  “I spoke to my Dad the other day, and he told me a story about when he was a truck driver and was considering quitting because it was such a difficult job,” Hal responded. “He said that he was always alone, which was a difficult job.” 

“I’ve concluded that both of my parents traveled halfway across the world not only for themselves but also for their family and that even when my father was at his lowest, he did not give up so that the rest of my family, including myself, may have a normal life experience. I’ve given some thought to going on with my life, but if my father went through all of that for me, would it be fair for me to do so? Because my father didn’t give up the habit, I don’t see why I should.” 

This remark made many admirers happy, and they expressed their admiration for his “passion” for competition and encouraged him to return soon. There is no telling when he will be able to get back into the swing of things, but at least we won’t have to worry about his disappearing anytime soon.
