TenZ Returns: Sentinels’ Star Player Reinstated for Crucial Matches in VCT Americas

Tyson ‘TenZ’ Ngo, who had been out for three weeks due to illness and a finger injury, has been reinstated to the starting lineup for the Valorant team of the Sentinels, as the organization recently made the announcement. Due to illness and an injury to his finger, TenZ did not participate in any of the team’s final four matches in the VCT Americas. During that time, the Sentinels put their substitute player, Jimmy ‘Marved’ Nguyen, on the field. As a result, some of the team’s responsibilities had to be adjusted to accommodate the shift.

The former member of OpTic Gaming contributed to Sentinels’ first win in the league since the team’s debut match, although the squad only achieved a little beyond that and now has a record of 2-5 overall. The Sentinels are in jeopardy of not qualifying for the playoffs of the VCT Americas. They will need to win both of their remaining matches in order to have any chance of moving on to the next level of the competition.

TenZ will return for the Sentinels’ last two matches in the VCT Americas

Adam ‘Kaplan’ Kaplan, the head coach of the Sentinels, spoke directly to the team’s fans in a video that was only 15 seconds long to let them know that their team’s star player would be back in the starting lineup.

George Geddes, who also mentioned that the former XSET player is on his way out of the group, stated that Sentinels would continue to field Marved and will instead substitute their IGL, Rory ‘depth’ Jackson, for TenZ. George Geddes provided this information. When the Sentinels play KRÜ Esports on May 14, their Week 7 clash, the audience will see TenZ make his way back into the starting lineup.

The following individuals make up the Sentinels’ roster:

  • Tyson ‘TenZ’ Ngo
  • Jimmy ‘Marved’ Nguyen
  • Bryan ‘pANcada’ Luna
  • Gustavo ‘Sacy’ Rossi
  • Zachary ‘zekken’ Patrone
