Expert reveals lethal loadout for SP-X 80 sniper despite recent nerf in Warzone 2

The Warzone 2 expert Metaphor has divulged a lethal loadout for the SP-X 80 sniper that, despite the recent nerf, still has the capacity to kill an opponent with a single shot. Due to the fact that sniping has always been such an essential component in Call of Duty, it seemed inevitable that it would play a significant part in Warzone as well. This has been the case ever since the days of Verdansk, but in more recent times, the weapon class has also seen both highs and lows.

Snipers had a rocky start in the early stages of Warzone 2 due to the fact that many players felt they lacked sufficient firepower to compete effectively. On the other hand, one-shot constructions were immediately noticeable after a short period. Nerfing those, on the other hand, took the developers a relatively short amount of time to do. In spite of this, at least one sniper can take out an adversary with a single shot; however, this will not kill the enemy entirely and will instead render them defenseless, making them an easy target. That’s the SP-X 80.

The best loadout for the SP-X 80 in Warzone 2 Season 2

Despite the recent nerf to snipers as a class, Warzone YouTuber Metaphor emphasized the sniper in his March 2 video, stating that it still delivers a powerful punch in gunfights, despite the recent nerf to snipers.

He added, “Snipers do not one-shot anymore, but loadout is perfect, and if you are strong at sniping, you are going to be able to make it work.” He was referring to the fact that one-shot kills are no longer possible with snipers. Because he uses an 18.5-inch Bryson LR OEM barrel and an FSE OLE-V Laser instead of a Nilsound 90 muzzle and a Cronen Zero-P Optic, the YouTuber’s build created for his SP-X 80 is a little bit different from the basic loadout that is typically used for the weapon.

  • Ammunition: .300 High Velocity
  • Stock: Max DMR Precision
  • Rear Grip: Schlager Match Grip
  • Barrel: 18.5’ Bryson LR factory
  • Laser: FSE OLE-V

When it comes to the sniper meta, the SP-X 80 has taken a bit of a step back, and it is currently placed comfortably behind the Signal 50, the MCPR-300, and a few other weapons. However, the fact that it has the potential to be even more potent than those should mean that it quickly climbs up a few positions in the rankings before too long.
