The Warzone 2 expert WhosImmortal has revealed a loadout for a fantastic ‘hybrid’ weapon that can be used at medium and close ranges in Season 2. The update that went live on February 24 drastically rebalanced Warzone 2’s meta by nerfing RPK and Fennec. These two heroes were still dominant in the meta after receiving nerfs at the start of Season 2 itself.
Players and content makers are pitching their ideas for the top-tier alternatives now that the top slots on the food chain of Warzone 2’s meta are opening up. WhosImmortal, a YouTuber, has already offered a variety of close-range weapons that could replace the Fennec now that it has been nerfed. According to WhosImmortal’s explanation, he believes that the Kastov 74u is on par with the Chimera in terms of being a hybrid of medium and close-range rifles. “The Kastov 74u is also great for this type of play, which combines AR and SMG elements. “Close range, some medium range in there as well as close range,” said the content creator regarding the 74u. “Low recoil, but not as mobile as some of the subs, but it makes up for it with damage, I would say, for sure,” said the content creator.
The assault rifle has significant firepower and quick time to kill (TTK) at close ranges.
