YouTuber MrBeast Expresses Interest in Joining North American Challengers League (NACL) for League of Legends Esports Debut

Jimmy ‘MrBeast’ Donaldson, a well-known YouTuber, has indicated an interest in participating in the North American Challengers League (NACL), his first excursion into League of Legends esports. MrBeast is one of the content producers who have “apparently expressed interest in joining the NACL,” according to Sander Hove of The Game Haus, who collaborates with Nick ‘LS’ De Cesare to provide updates on the North American League of Legends scene.

Rumors suggest that Tyler ‘Tyler1’ Steinkamp, a renowned League of Legends streamer, and Moist Esports, a company operated by Charles ‘MoistCr1TiKaL’ White Jr. and Ludwig Ahgren, are contemplating joining the league. Hove claims Tyler1 hasn’t given up on fielding a team in the NACL after being supposedly denied the chance to join.

Only below the LCS, the NACL is the North American League of Legends’ second division. It is now undergoing a significant transformation due to seven of the ten LCS franchises’ sudden decisions to leave the NACL after removing the requirement to play in the developmental league. For the Summer Split, Riot Games downsized the NACL from 16 to 10 teams and invited Disguised, the esports endeavor of content producer Jeremy ‘Disguised Toast’ Wang. According to statistics company Esports Charts, the squad is presently tied for second place in the league with an 11-7 record and is averaging a league-high 10,951 viewers per game.

Mr. Beast desires to play in the NACL

League of Legends esports have long been credited to MrBeast, yet he has never competed at the NACL level. He made his plan to purchase a spot in the LCS known during a guest appearance on the Worlds 2022 broadcast. Oh, yeah, absolutely, he replied. “When is the question? I want a team that succeeds in getting to this stage when we do it.

One of the most well-known League of Legends players in North America and the star of 100 Thieves, Yiliang ‘Doublelift’ Peng, stated earlier this year that MrBeast joining the LCS would be “really good” for the league, which is dealing with dwindling viewership. Many people considered MrBeast a potential buyer when TSM revealed they were selling their LCS slot. However, according to a May 20 story from The New York Times, TSM has limited their talks to “about a dozen entities, mostly in the media and traditional sports worlds.”
