ALGS Split 2 Playoffs: Every Team Takes Center Stage for an Unmissable Showdown

Because the league has announced that this time around, every team will be shown on the main stage, the fans will take advantage of all of the action that will take place during the ALGS Split 2 Playoffs.

ALGS was in hot water during the ALGS Split 1 Playoffs in February. During the time, some fans and players claimed that the broadcast focused too heavily on TSM and neglected to bring other teams to the main stage. As a result, they believed that ALGS was unfairly favoring TSM. Every team will be featured on the mainstage broadcast during the ALGS Split 2 Playoffs, which will be held in the same format and at the same site (the Copper Box Arena in London) as the previous season’s playoffs.

On May 11, the official Apex Legends Esports Twitter account revealed the tournament’s dates and the beginning of ticket sales. The report also revealed that each of the forty teams that qualified for the event will have a chance to participate in the primary broadcast. Even if they did a good job, specific teams were only allowed to participate on the secondary, or “B,” stream instead of the primary, or “A,” stream, which was broadcast by a different pair of commentators. This policy was in place in the past.

The ALGS Split 2 Playoff will include more teams competing on the main stage

As casters Jack “NiceWigg” Martin and Athanasios “MrGreekGod” Alestas are scheduled to return for the tournament, the B stream will not be discontinued. This is due to the fact that the event will be running too many matches and perspectives simultaneously to be hosted on a single channel.

The teams who earned a spot in the competition will compete through stages consisting of groups and brackets before attempting to earn a spot on the final day, during which they will compete in a series of matches that will determine the champion of the tournament. The winning team will take home $300,000 of the total prize fund of $1,000,000. As the one-weekend competition begins on July 13 intending to crown another ALGS champion, spectators can watch all 40 participating teams compete live on the mainstream.
