Mortal Kombat 1 Stress Test Impresses Players with Insane Kombo Potential

Players of Mortal Kombat 1 who were fortunate enough to participate in the stress test have been gushing about the Kombo potential of NetherRealm’s newest fighter, which comes after some reservations about the previous game.

The stress test for Mortal Kombat 1 provided a unique chance to play the game early. The game’s infrastructure was tested with the assistance of a small group of players who were asked to try it out. The content was little. But for a good cause, and included an online 1v1 multiplayer game and a miniature Kombat Tower arcade. The stress test served as a tool to gauge Mortal Kombat’s online performance and offer players a sense of the tone and feel of the game. Although the new Kameo system was integrated entirely, something else attracted our attention.

Kombos from Mortal Kombat 1 is “insane!”

Many players are eager to discuss their stress test results on the Mortal Kombat 1 subreddit. The characteristics of the game’s Kombos came up frequently. Mortal Kombat 11 received mixed reviews from die-hard MK fans, who were dissatisfied with the game’s less-focused Kombos. However, with MK1, this will change. One user posted a video of Liu Kang completely decimating their opponent with two hard-hitting, multi-move Kombos, claiming, “Kombos are back on the menu.”

One player exclaimed, “That was sick,” while another responded, “Goddamn, that was a sick combo, but I feel sorry for that guy, hahaha.” Not only that, but another Reddit thread also demonstrated the punishment that could be meted out when employing Liu Kang. Jax as a Kameo, regular attacks, special abilities, and a staggering 22-hit Kombo translated to a near-50% Kombo. The player immediately began another burst of unblockable offensive after the 22 hits. One user said, “This is for people who complained about MK11 combos.”

Mortal Kombat 1 is currently in its very early phases. Because it’s a stress test, the developers can adjust before the official release. Therefore, the gameplay needs to be fixed going forward. However, a number of the character roster and the ability to taunt opponents are expected to remain constant.
