The Warzone 2 meta has changed considerably after the release of Season 4 Reloaded. The most popular gun setup is the X13 Auto with the Basilisk pistol with Snakeshot ammunition, which some players have dubbed the “worst meta” ever. Warzone 2’s use of handguns increased during Season 4 Reloaded, with the Basilisk revolvers and X13 Auto becoming the new close-range standard.
It comes as no surprise since both of them have outstanding TTK. JGOD, a Warzone 2 specialist, claims the Akimbo Basilisks can achieve an astounding 360 ms up close while the X13 Auto can kill in only 455 ms. For comparison, the ISO 45 is almost twice as quick. This combo has been ubiquitous on Vondel, a Resurgence map where gunfights often occur near one another. These two firearms were removed from Ranked Play in the July 19 update because of their significant influence.
X13 Auto and Snakeshot Basilisk were dubbed Warzone 2’s “worst meta” ever
A Call of Duty: Warzone gamer from Warzone 2 shared a video of what they consider the worst meta in the game’s history on Reddit. The post boasts, “I present the all-time worst meta combination of all time!” and displays several kills in which the OP completely dominates the close range due to the meta pistol combo.
One player responded, “Not when the DMR/Mac-10 existed,” while another shot back, “I lived through both, and I think this is worse, personally.” The responses caused some controversy. Some people compared the current pistol meta and some of the most notorious metals. Sykov pistols, the hitscan SPR 208, Vanguard’s Double Barrel shotguns, and the launch AS-VAL, which could fire through any material or wall, are just a few examples.
Interestingly, not many similarities to previous Warzone 2 metals were drawn. Nearly all of the suggestions for the worst meta in the history of battle royale were derived from the initial game. Whether or whether the Snakeshots and X13 Auto combination will be remembered as the worst meta has undoubtedly caused some controversy. It is hard to defeat because of its dominance up close and great time to kill, particularly in the hands of a good player.
