A gamer of Pokemon Go who posts on Reddit has provided the most helpful hint for finishing one of the steps of the Shiny Mew Masterwork Research quest. Players of Pokemon Go have voiced their displeasure with player-assigned jobs ever since the All-in-One #151 Masterwork Research debut.
Even though some players have referred to the quest as completely unreachable, users in rural areas believe that Niantic is ‘bullying’ them with some of the prerequisites to accomplish it. To meet one of the requirements, you must capture at least 500 Pokemon, or 30 of each type. However, a person on Reddit has the ideal strategy for collecting thirty Pokemon of the Steel type.
A gamer of Pokemon Go offers a strategy for catching Pokemon of the Steel type
Reddit user Difficult-Coyote1722 posted the helpful hint and an image showing their progress on the Masterwork Research quest on July 11. the post was published on July 11. “Realized we can probably use the Meltan Box to catch 30 different steel types,” they claimed.
Meltan is a Mythical Pokemon belonging to the Steel type that was made available with the Let’s Go, Eevee! and Let’s Go, Pikachu! Games. After collecting 400 Candy in Pokemon Go, it will develop into Melmetal.
Because it is readily accessible in the game, Meltan is an excellent option for completing the need to “catch 30 Pokemon of type Steel.” The only way to get the Mystery Box is to link Pokemon Go to the Let’s Go series of Switch games or Pokemon Home. Both of these options are available. You can take possession of the box after transferring a Pokemon from PoGo to Let’s Go or Home.
As soon as you open it, Meltan will appear for the next half an hour (or longer if there are event bonuses), and it will provide you with a new Pokemon to capture around once every minute and a half. While the box is open, this grants you access to about twenty spawns of Meltan. You won’t be able to get another one for another three days after that, but it’s a lot faster than depending on whatever is currently available in the game’s spawn pool.
