Unarmed Challenge: Apex Legends Players Ascend Ranked Ladder Without Using Guns

With one significant disadvantage, a gang of Apex Legends players is striving to climb the Ranked ladder. The Ranked playlist is typically the best option for players who want to put their talents to the test in Apex Legends while collaborating with a squad or playing alone.

Even with a committed squad of three players, climbing the ranks can be complex. However, some players believe Ranked’s challenge could be much smoother. One group of Apex Legends gamers is currently participating in their Ranked challenge but aren’t permitted to use firearms to score kills and win.

On the Apex Legends subreddit, content creator JohnnyPriceTV posted a clip of some of the victories he and his team were able to secure during the challenge. This clip quickly gained popularity. In the video, Johnny appeared as Horizon, and his teammates played Caustic and Fuse. They used a variety of strategies to stay alive throughout the match and reach the championship ring.

The streamer responded in the affirmative when asked if this was a self-challenge or simply the result of a late respawn, saying it was a “challenge with two pals! I switch off between a few different people (whoever is available), but none of us use weapons. Gained plat 3 (almost plat 2) from bronze 4.” Each Legend has specific skills that make them effective in this particular challenge, demonstrating that the team carefully considered how to assemble their squad. When guns are off the table, the combination of Horizon’s Ultimate ability and Fuse’s reliance on collecting grenades makes for a potent combination.

The footage is a quick clip of some of the team’s frantic and tense final loops. Johnny told fans they were “pretty aggressive” throughout matches despite several users’ skepticism that the group was only ratting until the last circle. “In about three streams, we cleared 8000 RP. We try to rotate and third quickly. Being able to do so without the use of weapons is quite an accomplishment. Moving from Bronze 4 to Platinum 3 is commendable on its own. Before the start of Season 17, hopefully, JohnnyPriceTV and its staff can reach even higher heights.
