TSM’s ImperialHal to take a break from Apex Legends due to mental health concerns

TSM’s Philip’  ImperialHal’ Dosen has admitted that he’ll be playing “very little” of Apex Legends’ battle royale mode and taking a break from the game.  ImperialHal has had several problems with the battle royale in recent weeks, like the bulk of Apex Legends gamers, and he hasn’t been afraid to voice them.

While the TSM leader has been playing a lot of Realm on live to keep the competitive blood going, his TSM team has been struggling in ALGS. He has yet to be a fan of the latest metals when it comes to legends and using the Charge Rifle.  Hal has consequently chosen to reduce the amount of Apex he plays in the future and to put more emphasis on his mental health.

ImperialHal claims that he will be playing “very little” Apex Legends in the future

My mental health is at an all-time low because of having to cope with Apex’s current situation, and my performance isn’t helping either. I will be playing very little Apex moving ahead. Hope you guys get it,” Hal wrote in a tweet on April 25. That happened shortly after he ended his stream for the evening and became angry with some of the teams in Realm.  He yelled at his Realm teammates in a video and declared, “I’m so done with these offers,” after expressing frustration with their in-game choices and the fact that they had been ignoring him.

The TSM player received a deluge of encouraging responses from fans and fellow players, many of whom claimed to be in a similar situation to hers when it comes to taking a step back.  “Happens. You know where to find me, mate, if you want variety. Love ya, Mac ‘Albralelie’ Beckwith retorted. One said, “Hopefully, Respawn takes this as a wake-up call.” Another person commented, “Very telling about the state of the game.”

Hal hasn’t used the word “retirement” in any of his tweets, so don’t plan on his quitting the battle royale for good. He’ll probably return soon and try to correct the ship so TSM can resume firing at the highest level.
