Pokemon Scarlet & Violet Trainers are destroying the 7-star Chesnaught Tera Raids with a single blow using Starters from previous generations. Pokemon Scarlet & Violet Trainers are engaged in the Tera Raid Chesnaught, which started on May 12 and runs until May 14 of that year.
Many players set up their raid Pokemon in advance, and trainers selected powerful Chesnaught counters like Annihilape, Appletun, and Gholdengo as their opponents. Fans are now demonstrating even more remarkable tactics by deploying the starter Pokemon from previous Tera Raids to dispatch this enormously influential Chesnaught in a single blow.
Trainers of the Pokemon Scarlet & Violet destroy Chesnaught using Starters
In the Pokemon Scarlet & Violet subreddit, users shared their tactics for starting Pokemon like Decidueye, Greninja, and Chesnaught. The Decidueye tactic was developed by a trainer named No-Pool-7850, who devised a somewhat elaborate method to maximize the potential of the Grass/Ghost type.
Decidueye served as the aggressor in this plan, with assistance from Oranguru, Arboliva, and Umbreon. The Overgrow Ability and Weakness Policy is triggered when the Oranguru hits Decidueye with the Shadown Pall. Arboliva then attacks Decidueye with Helping Hand, and Umbreon attacks Chesnaught with Fake Tears. Due to Chesnaught’s numerous debuffs and Decidueye’s abundance of boosts, Decidueye can utilize Frenzy Plant to eliminate Chesnaught in a single motion.
Then, using Greninja, this trainer devised a plan to defeat Chesnaught. A teammate will assault Greninja, much like Decidueye, to activate its Torrent Ability and Weakness Policy. Once again weakening Chesnaught with Fake Tears, one teammate will use Helping Hand on Greninja while the other uses Fake Tears on Greninja. In order to defeat Chesnaught, Greninja can utilize Hydro Cannon.
Then, with yet another fantastic setup, a trainer by the name of flamewizzy21 utilized Chesnaught to OHKO Chesnaught. This tactic depends on the Chesnaught that is attacking utilizing Belly Drum to boost its Attack stat. The second and third Pokemon then use Screech to weaken Chesnaught, while the friendly Chesnaught is attacked by the third Pokemon with an Attack Cheer and Helping Hand. Last, Chesnaught can utilize Close Combat to OHKO the opponent on turn two. Although Starter Pokemon are known for being powerful, it is still surprising that these trainers were able to develop such effective plans to maximize their potential.
