The ISO Hemlock Reigns Supreme in Warzone 2, but JGOD Offers Viable Alternatives

Warzone 2 players prefer the ISO Hemlock over all other weapons. However, JGOD offered a few adequate substitutes. Season 3 Reloaded tried to slow down close-range time-to-kill rates while simultaneously making it more straightforward for weapons to hit targets farther away. To further their objective, the developers incorporated new damage values.

However, True Game Data tested the mid-season update modifications and found that the TTK was largely unaffected by the new damage levels. Gunfights in Warzone 2 shifted significantly with the long-range meta-changing. The ISO Hemlock is still by far the most widely used weapon in the battle royale sequel, according to WZ Ranked. JGOD defied convention and explained how the TTK adjustments improved a few long-term options.

Which Warzone 2 long-range meta weapon is the best?

After the Season 3 Reloaded update, JGOD examined various AR TTK speeds using data gathered by True Game Data.

JGOD determined that the Lachmann 556’s TTK is approximately 996 milliseconds and requires about 13 bullets to incapacitate an adversary completely. The YouTuber also considered that the speed might increase to about 913 and 12 shots to kill if a player manages to hit an enemy in the head after shattering their armor. JGOD suggested that under the new TTK adjustments, a player may not always be able to kill their opponent in fewer shots if they take a headshot while wearing armor. JGOD put the ISO Hemlock and Kastov 545 through the same testing. He concluded that the TTK of the Kastov 545 is around 1012 and 12 shots, which might be reduced to 920 and 11 bullets with a headshot against non-armor.

Additionally, the ISO Hemlock kills in 996 ms and 13 shots, potentially increasing to 913 ms and 12 images. The three weapons were then tested by JGOD in-game. “The Lachmann 556 performed quite well overall. The Kastov 545 feels excellent to me. Because players may kill with five chest shots and three headshots, the YouTuber acknowledged that gamers would probably continue to favor the Hemlock.

That should be fine with the other two choices, though, as JGOD noted that while the Hemlock can only hold 45-round magazines, the Kastov 545 and Lachmann 556 have 60-round magazines. Both AR options also benefit from a recoil pattern that is simple to manage. Watching if the long-range meta in Warzone 2 changes when players get used to the new TTK in Season 3 Reloaded would be fascinating.
