Reaching Pikachu Mastery: Pokemon Go Player Celebrates Platinum Pikachu Fan Medal Achievement

A Platinum Medal, which can only be earned by collecting a significant number of Pikachus, was a cause for celebration for one user of Pokemon Go. In Pokemon Go, obtaining a Platinum Medal is a challenging task. The Platinum Pikachu Fan Medal is no exception to the rule that these Medals need a significant investment of time and effort.

A player of Go must capture hundreds of Pikachu to achieve the greatest possible rank to be eligible for this Medal. One Go player has just reached this aim and is celebrating this critical milestone.

A player of Pokemon Go congratulates themselves on achieving the Platinum award

One Pokemon Go user recently celebrated a challenging achievement in the smartphone game by posting about it on Reddit. A user using the handle ‘Puzzleheaded-Bad1571’ shared a screenshot in which the coveted Platinum Pikachu Fan medal was visible. To get this Medal, players must capture one thousand Pikachu. Pikachu is a well-known Pokemon and is Ash Ketchum’s buddy in the Pokemon anime series.

The Go player received congratulations from a number of the other players. One said, “I have been longing for this day; congratulations!” A second player poked fun at the first player by saying, “Yeah until they release Diamond Tier and have you catch 2,500 Pikachus.” Also, the conditions that must be met to get Platinum Medals that call for Pokemon to be captured, evolved, or traded might make obtaining these medals challenging. One such example is the Platinum Kanto Medal, which cannot be earned until every Pokemon from the Kanto region has been received. Due to geographical limitations, this task might take a significant amount of time.

In addition, the fact that Niantic periodically produces unique variants of Pikachu is excellent news for anybody interested in obtaining the Platinum Pikachu Fan Medal. For instance, during the 7th Anniversary Party Event, players of Go had the chance to earn a Pikachu wearing a cake hat in certain Raids. Players could only get this Pikachu by completing certain Raids. One aspect of the success that is noteworthy to consider is the fact that just a few Shiny Pikachu were captured along the road. Also, uzzlehead made this claim after the original poster responded to a query posed by a Go player in the thread’s comments, stating that only “three or four” of the thousand turned out to be Shiny.
