The creators of Pokemon Go, Niantic, have released an official statement in reaction to the fact that some players still do not have access to the Route Creator. Trainers in Pokemon Go now have access to a brand-new feature called Routes, which enables them to follow paths laid out by other players and earn prizes along the way.
On the other hand, some Go players have expressed their annoyance with the function because there have been stories of trainers being able to design new Routes. Since then, Niantic has released an update for players who cannot construct Routes.
Niantic provides gamers of Pokemon Go with a statement on the Routes feature
On July 20, Niantic revealed more information on the Routes feature of Pokemon Go. With Routes, trainers will have the option to design a unique path in a real-world environment, submit it, and other players will then be able to explore it for benefits. Routes will be available in the game later this year.
Despite this, there has been a fair amount of consternation around the launch of Routes. On Pokemon Go, some users have reported being able to access Routes, while others have reported being unable to build new Routes. Those unable to construct new Routes have failed to establish new ones. The official Niantic Support Twitter account conversed with those who fit into the latter type. The creator of Go claimed on social media that although all players have the option to explore Routes, trainers do not yet have the power to build new ones since the feature is “still being rolled out.”
It is easy to see why there is so much dissatisfaction. Niantic published the A to Zygarde Special Research missions for fans of Pokemon Go yesterday. Players must use the new Routes feature in the game to fulfill specific goals. The problem, however, is that several gamers have reported on social media that they need help to create a Route in Pokemon Go or locate a public route. Consequently, players have yet to benefit from the additional bonuses that Routes provided in the recently introduced Blaze New Trails event. As a result, they cannot make significant headway on the Special Research.
