Players of Pokemon Go have voiced their dissatisfaction with the information that Niantic has provided on the impending Riolu Hatch Day. As part of the unique Hatch Day event, users of Pokemon Go will have a more significant opportunity to get a Riolu, as well as the Shiny variant of the Pokémon, the following week.
However, quite a few Go players are dissatisfied with the preparations that Niantic has made for the competition. A number of people have said that they are not interested in participating in the event since there are not enough incentives and it would take too long.
Riolu Hatch Day is a contentious topic among gamers of Pokemon Go
Niantic has announced the whole schedule and the goodies that will be available for the next Riolu Hatch Day, which will start on July 22. Players of Pokemon Go will have an enhanced chance on this day to hatch Riolu and the Shiny variant of the Fighting-type Pokemon from 2km Eggs. This opportunity will only be available for a limited time. In addition, players will get twice as much Stardust from any successfully hatched eggs.
The incentives that have been prepared for Riolu Hatch Day have yet to manage to captivate Go players on social media. Players of Pokemon Go have voiced their displeasure with several aspects related to the event, including its brevity, the fact that Riolu will not be the only Pokemon that may be born from Eggs during the event, and the fact that the hatch distance will not be lowered for the occasion.
A player made the following observation in response to the event: “So, Riolu is not the only thing in 2 kilometers, 2 kilometers are not guaranteed, and its full incubator distance?” This is a pass, and the duration is merely three hours.” One more person commented in a nasty tone, “This event is terrible, lol.” Several players voiced their fear that this would set a precedent for similar situations in the future. Regarding this format, one individual said, “Ya know, this could be how they’ll inevitably release Shiny Larvesta in the future……” Players of Go have been vocal about their dissatisfaction with Niantic’s offering on more than one occasion so far this week. Earlier in the week, several Pokemon lovers voiced their disapproval at the regularity with which a “dumb pink dog” appears as a prize.
