Pokemon Go players complain that they have too many Premium Raid Passes and beg for more significant incentives to utilize them. Following the significant changes made to the game in April 2023, discontent in the Pokemon Go community appears to be at an all-time high.
Some players claim there are no longer any incentives to go outside and participate in raids or take over Gyms, leading to a lack of interest from players in playing Pokemon Go outside. Now that fans have noted that they have a surplus that they almost ever utilize, gamers have also stated that they don’t see much of a reason to use Premium Raid Passes.
Players of Pokemon Go talk about the excess of Premium Raid Passes
After a fan asked, “Does anyone else have a ton of premium passes they never use?” a post on the Pokemon Go subreddit brought the subject to the community’s attention. One Remote Raid Pass, one Go Battle League Timed Research Pass, and 20 Premium Raid Pass were visible in the item inventory screenshot that the OP uploaded. Indeed, many trainers mentioned having excess green passes in their responses. One supporter remarked, “Yeah, I have 96,” while another added, “I keep 20, and the rest I chuck.”
Since trainers frequently use free orange passes instead of Premium Raid Passes on their daily raids, it appears that some fans don’t value these passes. One player remarked, “I’ve only ever used premium passes for global events, and only when a sizable number of people were raiding in person.” Other trainers desired the ability to transform their extra passes into something more beneficial or appealing. Yes, I have about 90. One trainer said, “I wish we could convert them to remote Raid passes. Naturally, it’s doubtful that Niantic would offer players a convenient way to get more without making a financial commitment, given that the company nerfed Remote Raid Passes last month.
The Kleavor Raid Day event is almost approaching, so several astute gamers pointed out that now would be an excellent moment for trainers to use some of the extra Premium Raid Passes they’ve been hoarding. Trainers’ complaints about the primary games’ Gyms and Raids suggest that Niantic should shake things up more positively.
