Pokemon Fans Disappointed as Scarlet & Violet Misses Early 2023 Deadline for Pokemon HOME Integration

Fans of Pokemon Scarlet & Violet have voiced their dissatisfaction with the Pokemon Company for failing to meet the “Early 2023” deadline that was initially given for making the game compatible with Pokemon HOME. Players who have an interest in moving their pocket monsters between the many Pokemon games that are playable on the Nintendo Switch, or transferring their favorites from Pokemon Go into those games, will find that Pokemon HOME is an excellent tool to use.

Therefore, it should not come as a surprise that when the release window for Pokemon Home’s integration with Scarlet & Violet was announced, collectors all over the world were delighted about the new trade opportunities. However, it would appear that we are somewhat behind what one may consider “early 2023,” and the integration has not yet been spotted anywhere.

Pokemon fans criticize the developers for missing the deadline that they had promised

The user, @DerDennis218, on Twitter, tweeted a snapshot from the “Pokemon Presents 2.27.2023” that promised support for trades between Pokemon HOME and Pokemon Scarlet & Violet in early 2023. The user captioned the post: “I’m wondering if it’s already early 2023.”

A few of the audience members who responded leaped at the opportunity to make critical remarks about the company. One supporter jokingly posted, “No, it’s late 2022, duh,” under their comment. Someone chimed in and said, “I think their minds are faster than their works.” Others are suggesting that the amount of post-release work the company is putting into Scarlet & Violet could contribute to the company’s decision to miss the target release date.

“I believe that the negative feedback on the current status of Scarlet & Violet has caused the developers to shift their attention to a patch instead; not to mention, there is future downloadable content (DLC), so Home compatibility may still take some time. “Most likely when the DLC is released,” a player speculates. Support for the app will become available in the coming weeks so that gamers and collectors can complete their collections and bring their favorite characters from earlier installments of the franchise into the most recent game in the series.
