Jax to receive graphic upgrade in League of Legends after Skarner’s postponement
Due to the postponement of Skarner, the Riot Games art and narrative team can now focus on bringing Jax up to date. His visual makeover, expected to be released towards the end of the year, will follow up on the modest Jax redesign from earlier in 2023. Jax has consistently occupied the top lane both before and after his revamp. His legendary Counter-Strike ability gives him some of the most considerable outplay potential of any character in League of Legends. Making him one of the most well-liked characters.
His visual style is a little old, though. This champion is one of the few surviving artifacts from a far earlier era in League of Legends. Although he has held up reasonably well, the character model’s advanced age is beginning to catch up with him. The artwork and resources that were initially devoted to cleaning Skarner up for release have been transferred over to working on Jax because Skarner’s rework was delayed. And the arrival of his graphic makeover will be completed on time.
Jax will receive a graphic upgrade in League of Legends
Jax has a quirky character design. He is a faceless being who attacks people by striking them with lampposts. The joke is that he would be even more potent if he had a real weapon. The developers at Riot are attempting to maintain this aspect of his famous status while bringing him into a new era of League of Legends to keep his weird and outrageous mythology and his sophisticated voice. His character design is considerably more intricate and detailed. There’s a fundamental reason why he is swinging a lamppost around, even if he still has a similar visual identity.
The dev blog claims that his “weapon” plays a different significance in his lore. No matter how much Jax would have liked an actual weapon, we opted against giving him one. Instead, we emphasized the importance of his gun, the last item he had left from Icathia before the Void destroyed it. That is why he opts to utilize it rather than a more conventional weapon.
Additionally, he’s scheduled to launch later this year, so Jax’s rework will arrive before some previously announced content.
