A video of the player’s Pathfinder swinging about aimlessly at high speeds was uploaded to Reddit and shared by one of its users. Everything seems to be in order in the first part of the video; however, things quickly turn negative when the player accidentally crashes into a wall. The only sound that can be heard is a resounding crash of metal, and at that moment, Pathfinder is instantly put to death by the force of the strike.
The abrupt death at the wall seems to have caught the other Apex Legends players off guard just as much as it did the initial poster. In response, one individual said they “did not know this was possible.” The same statement also prompted a discussion regarding whether or not this qualifies as collision or fall damage, which Apex does not have.
