Apex Legends Fans Call for Adjustments to Ranked Split System

Before the latest adjustments, Apex Legends relied on Ranked divides to keep things interesting; however, the recent changes have prompted the developers to ask for significant alterations to the previously existing functionality.

Ranked splits used to be an excellent method for Apex Legends to spice up the competition by introducing a new map into the mix and incentivizing players to begin the RP grind all over again. However, this feature has now been removed. However, given that the maps switch around on a consistent basis throughout the week, there has been a call for a modification to the current system, which many fans say has rapidly become out of date.

Fans of Apex Legends are prepared for upcoming adjustments to the Ranked split

On Reddit, the Apex player UnfluffyBunnyTV was the one who initiated the dialogue, and their suggestion was a straightforward one. Now that the map rotation has been removed, the focus should shift to other areas of the video game that need to be updated.

“They should make use of the splits to make modest tweaks to weapon damage and attachments, as well as to balance slight numerical changes to characters. Nothing too extreme, but you need to get it to the point where the split is worthwhile,” they explained. “Then, when the New Season begins, utilize that as the time to make significant alterations such as rotating care packages, introducing new weapons and characters, as well as other changes to the game’s balance. It will prevent the seasons from becoming repetitive and provide players with a substantial quantity of new content, even if presented in a simplified fashion.

Others came in to criticize the reset of Rank that occurs in conjunction with each split. One individual stated that it does not allow enough time for a sufficient window to climb. Since the division was implemented, I have yet to be able to finish a single season. I’ll get close to plat, but then a split will occur, and I’ll realize that I’m back in gold, which means I’ll have to go through all of that s*** again. I play something else.”

Because Respawn has yet to state any prospective modifications and because the reset is helpful for people who depend on Apex for content, it is currently unknown whether or not any adjustments or reworks will wind up rolling down the pipeline.
