A Shocking Defeat: Professional TFT Player Falls to Scuttle Crabs in PvE Round
Setsuko, a professional Teamfight Tactics player, was speechless after their Cho’Gath lost their PvE round against four innocuous Scuttle Crabs. Players of the game Teamfight Tactics must continually think on their feet. The best players can think quickly and decisively and adjust their strategies consistently throughout the game. All of this occurs amid the numerous battles throughout the game, in which each player goes up against another in a 1v1 gaming mode. Players only get a respite during their match when they go to the acclaimed PvE round, where they battle numerous monsters for gold and loot.
Some of these PvE rounds were altered when Set 9 and portals were introduced to accommodate the outlets adequately. Some do away with these rounds and swap them with re-rollable treasure armories. The Scuttle Puddle portal, which replaces the dangerous monsters in PvE rounds with the innocuous Scuttle Crabs from League of Legends, has to be the coolest of the bunch. Selling your troops for money and leaving just one to kill the crabs on this portal is a tactic because these charming creatures deal minor damage. TFT expert Setsuko achieved that, albeit not quite to the level of success they hoped for.
Scuttle Crabs defeat a pro-Teamfight Tactics player in PvE
Setsuko only fields a Cho’Gath in since she knows they can bully the helpless creatures for their loot and save gold that way. As Setsuko cheers on his void creature as he consumes the crabs, everything appears to be going according to plan. Cho’Gath was a 1-cost tank, but he struggled to finish off the monsters quickly, which led to overtime.
Setsuko was unaware that the Scuttle Crabs occasionally stopped moving and digging, which caused harm to neighboring units. The Scuttle Crabs also took advantage of the additional damage when overtime was called, decimating Cho’Gath and handing the professional gamer a somewhat humiliating loss.
