ImperialHal criticizes EU Apex Legends teams’ gun skills

A question regarding the potential of the EU Apex Legends team Fire Beaver at the upcoming international competition was posed to TSM player, ALGS Split 1 playoff champion, and MVP Phillip ‘ImperialHal‘ Dosen. They proclaimed that because EU teams had “dogsh*t” gun skills, they won’t be able to handle competing against a North American squad.

As the start date for the ALGS Split 2 playoffs approaches, tensions between European and North American teams have begun to increase. TSM’s ImperialHal was questioned about the EU team Fire Beavers and its chances at LAN on a recent stream. The player continued by saying that the entire region lacked combat prowess and that Fire Beavers would struggle in NA ALGS. The EU has such f****** dogshit gun skills. Like, the EU’s numb, and their shooting skills are awful. For the most part, their mechanics in that region are so sh*t, stated ImperialHal.

The Apex Legends expert continues by saying that although some EU teams, namely the best ones like Alliance and Fire Beavers, are good at three-on-three combat, they are more of an exception. Also, Fire Beavers are in an excellent position to earn a spot in the Split 2 LAN competition, as they currently hold the third spot on the EMEA ALGS ladder.

Taking on EU Apex Legends teams is ImperialHal

ImperialHal added that this isn’t a viewpoint he’s taken before; ever since the beginning of ALGS, he’s believed EU teams could have done better at taking three-vs-three gunfights.

Every single time, it has happened, according to ImperialHal. “In team fights, NA teams always dominate EU teams. This has remained the same over time. Because they have good gun skills and play aggressively against the teams, which make up the majority of the lobby, incapable of engaging in combat or taking three-on-threes, Fire Beaver dominates that area. ImperialHal concluded his tirade by asserting that because most EU teams only have experience with positioning and rotating, they are typically outmatched by NA teams who enjoy engaging in physical combat. Beginning on July 13, the ALGS Split 2 playoffs will bring North America and Europe together.
