As Guardians and Destiny have poorly missed the Tribute Hall’s damage-testing and sandbox features, two players have requested their inclusion in the game. Since its release, Bungie’s wildly successful looter shooter Destiny 2 has experienced exponential growth in popularity. The game, which is now undergoing its penultimate expansion, offers players a sizable sandbox to play around in that includes a variety of weapons and armor, exotics, subclasses, and other features. Devoted players can painstakingly design builds of their choosing, enabling potent combos to defeat opponents.
To assist players in standing out from their peers, the creators have increased their emphasis on the build crafting feature. The Tribute Hall, a facility first made available during Season of Opulence, was one site where players could test out their new creations. Here, players could test their builds on several dummies placed throughout the zone that displayed damage metrics. Sadly, the Tribute Hall was removed from the game in Season of Arrivals and has not been returned. Because it was the sole opportunity for players to evaluate possible builds in a fixed setting, many players have urged its restoration.
Players of Destiny 2 want Tribute Hall to make a comeback in the game
Every kind of opponent and every enemy rank has a dummy in the Tribute Hall. This allowed players to practice dealing damage to monsters, majors, and even familiar foes. Since the removal, there has yet to be a reliable method to precisely test damage in a safe setting. Even though the Tribute Hall’s location no longer makes sense in terms of lore, many players still want it to come back. The message states, “I get that the tribute hall doesn’t make sense lore-wise, but we could have gotten an actual replacement.” Another user expressed sorrow, “Remember what they took from us.”
Others are angry with Bungie for making them use Bright Dust to enhance the Tribute Hall just for it to be taken away. Items that would ordinarily cost real money can be purchased with Bright Dust, which can be earned in-game. One user said, “Remember how they charged 12,000 Bright Dust from us to unlock everything, only to delete it later?” At the time of writing, The Tribute Hall is still not participating. However, Bungie may include the Tribute Hall’s reintroduction in the narrative due to the Leviathan’s return in Season of the Haunted. Guardians might have to get by shooting some floaty circles until that point.
