Unveiling Overwatch 2’s Next Heroes: Decoding Clues for the Support and Tank Role

The developers of Overwatch 2 have provided a significant clue about the next support hero that will be introduced in Season 6. Still, many believe they already know who the game’s next tank will be. The tragic news that PvE Hero Missions and talent trees would no longer be a part of the game was announced during the most recent Overwatch 2 developer talk. The team also provided a content plan to the attendees of the chat.

Even though most of the conversation has been on the PvE modes that have been removed. The roadmap did include a reasonably necessary hint regarding the identity of the following support and potentially even a future tank as well. It didn’t take long for gamers to figure out where this photo was taken from when it was included in the “new support hero” portion of the roadmap. The section in question features visuals of a vivid waterfall.

After the Overwatch 2 roadmap was revealed, major Overwatch 2 hero hints were unearthed

It has come to our attention that the picture of the waterfall is lifted from a poster. It can be discovered in the spawning chamber for the Antarctic Peninsula and refers explicitly to Peru. From this, the next hero will be of Peruvian descent; however, there are other possibilities. Another poster can be found on Antarctic Peninsula, and enthusiasts believe it may provide a clue about an upcoming tank. This poster is located next to the one advertising Peru.

Players are under the impression that Mauga, a hero who was teased many years ago, may, be coming after all as a result of a poster for Samoa with the same wall and style as the one for Peru. “Do you know of any other people that are Samoan? The big man himself, Mauga! This is far too obvious to be a conspiracy, and I am certain that Mauga will be our next tank. What are your thoughts on this?” member Theo_Cueio stated their opinion on Reddit. Others concurred with the assessment that this would indicate that Mauga will be made available in an upcoming patch.
