A woman’s quick thinking and cunning helped her avoid becoming stuck on the top of her apartment in Washington, DC, after going up there to enjoy some fresh air. The woman, identified only by her initials “Kelsey,” managed to escape this predicament by finding a way down.

On April 11th, Kelsey went outside on her roof to enjoy some fresh air. But she could not when she tried to enter again because the doors had been locked. Even after shouting and knocking, she could not be heard anyone else’s pleas for assistance.

Kelsey was believed to be stuck at the top of the building for around 45 minutes when she think of ingenious solution: using UberEats on her smartphone to order food and request that a driver go up to rescue her.

Uber Eats driver (whose identity remains unknown) arrived on the scene and climbed onto the roof to deliver food to Kelsey. He opened the door from inside, allowing her to safely return home.

Kelsey then shared her story on Twitter, which quickly went viral, with many applauding her quick thinking in the face of a difficult situation. Kelsey revealed on Fox News that she’d lived in the building for around a year. Additionally, she couldn’t explain how the door could close behind her but thanked Uber Eats driver for providing assistance.
