Ahead of the second split of the NA Challengers competition, former Cloud9 player and Valorant star Jaccob “Yay” Whiteaker have joined content creator Jeremy “Disguised Toast” Wang’s squad.
As the squad has unveiled its newest member in yeah, Disguised expands his lineup for the second split to include an international Valorant event winner. Cloud9 fired the sharpshooter after they appeared at Red Bull Home Ground and VCT LOCK//IN, despite spending less than six months with the team. Also, Tarik “Tarik” Celik and the newest Disguised member were unveiled by Disguised Toast. In a show match dubbed “Pro vs. Noobs Valorant showdown,” the Sentinels content developer and Tarik will compete alongside five other broadcasters.
Yay is a new member of the Disguised team, which sneaked into the Mid-Season Face Off competition with a 2-3 record. Also, after losing to M80 and TSM in the first rounds, they were among the first teams to be ousted from the competition.
Yay joins Disguised for NA Challengers League Split 2
Disguised Toast claimed in an announcement video that yeah was joining the squad in response to the team’s underwhelming performance in the first split. In the second split of the Challengers League, which begins on April 18, he will make his club debut later this month. Since Drake ‘Exalt’ Branly left last month, Yay will take over the unfilled position.
