BBL Esports makes roster changes and coaching adjustments after winless start in VCT EMEA league

Since the Turkish club has no wins to its name, it is currently in last place in the VCT EMEA league, and BBL Esports is making changes to the staff and roster of its Valorant team.

To this point in the 2023 season, BBL Esports has yet to have much success, as the team currently holds a record of 0-5 in VCT competition across the VCT EMEA league and VCT LOCK//IN. BBL has declared that it would be making changes to the coaching staff as well as the roster of the Valorant squad, most likely because of the team’s poor performance.

It has been decided that Arda ‘Epic’ Yldz will take over as the head coach of the team, succeeding Berke ‘Vlad’ Kanturk, who had been in the booth for the club previously. BBL also revealed that Huseyin ‘aimDLL’ Kabişteke, who has not played for the team since Aug ust 2022, will be making the trip to Berlin to fit into the starting roster. AimDLL has primarily played Sentinels for BBL and his prior teams. Therefore he could replace the squad’s IGL, ‘Brahim ‘SouhcNi’ Sa’r, or the team could change their roles around as SouhcNi has picked up Initiator responsibilities on some maps. aimDLL has primarily played Sentinels for BBL and his previous sections.

As a result of the team’s poor start, BBL Esports Valorant has made squad adjustments

BBL is the only team in the VCT EMEA that still needs to have a victory to its name, and as a result, they are now in last place. The team has competed against two of Europe’s most formidable teams, NAVI and Fnatic, but they have also faced opponents such as Karmine Corp and Giants in matches in which they should have had a better chance of victory.

There are still five games left for the squad to play in order to improve its record to one that is better than 500 and earn a spot in the playoffs. Even while no one has secured a place in the playoffs or been eliminated from contention, such outcomes are drawing ever closer to being unavoidable as the single round-robin tournament enters its closing weeks. On April 21, BBL Esports will compete against Team Vitality, who are currently 3-1 in the tournament. This will be the first game for BBL Esports’ new head coach, as well as the first game for a likely new starting lineup.
