LPL Star Doinb Considered Moving to NA, Cloud9 Challengers Coach Reveals
Doinb was alleged “heavily considering” moving to NA, and Cloud9 Challengers coach Reven stated that he was going to attempt and teach the LPL star English at the moment in an on-stream talk with LS. There are many speculations of prominent LPL and LCK players moving to North America for League of Legends, with names like Lee ‘Faker‘ Sang-hyeok occasionally mentioned during off-season discussions.
To consider their alternatives and choose the best team for them to play for, players frequently accept offers from many organizations. However, once a bid is formally accepted, predicting where a player will ultimately sign is easier. There is a universe where Kim ‘Doinb’ Tae-sang entered the LCS, according to a recent on-stream exchange between LS and Seong ‘Reven’ Sang-Hyeon, the head coach for Cloud9 Challengers (soon to be TSM’s head coach, according to a rumor from blix.gg).
Doinb was virtually a mid-laner in the LCS
Doinb is primarily recognized for his world championship-winning performance with FPX in 2019, but he also excels at creating engaging material for his stream. His stream is so popular that rumors and leaks frequently reach audiences around the world.
During his absence from professional play, he has been very active. In addition to taking care of a newborn infant, he has continued to leak scrim data while having various LPL pros as guests on his stream. He most recently discussed how LCS/LEC teams are succeeding in scrims. The situation changed when the coach and former player Reven stated during an on-stream discussion with LS that he was pals with Doinb and that Doinb had once given the LCS significant consideration.
On stream, LS inquired about Reven’s relationship with Doinb before adding, “You were almost how [Doinb] joined LCS, right?” This was true, Reven said, but he provided some context. “Not nearly, but like… He gave it serious thought. Reven would assist Doinb in learning English in the event that he traveled to North America, LS continued. The LPL standout, presently without a team, is still receiving offers, though it’s still being determined whether any are from the NA.
Even though Doinb isn’t competing, Nautilus Mid’s comeback has brought him back into the discussion. He has been making comments about Rasmus “Caps” Winther of G2 and making jokes about coaching G2 after his retirement.
